In this example, the conveyor system was designed to handle 2400 mold carts in an 8-hour shift. The conveyor system is 130 feet in length and configured in a “Oval Racetrack” pattern. It is equipped with 32 mold carts and 32 mold carriers. Each mold carrier is fully programmable with computer-controlled temperature, opening and closing, curing time and variable cart line speed that moves from 10 to 40 feet per minute.
