Linden Industries

Linden, a leading global designer and manufacturer of polyurethane processing equipment, has moved into a new 26,000 square foot world headquarters facility in Akron’s Ascot Industrial Park.

Founded in 1985, Linden has grown rapidly and by the early 1990’s had outgrown it 16,000 square foot facility in Peninsula. According to Peter Tilgner, president and founder of Linden, “We needed more space for engineering, manufacturing, spare parts inventory, and for mixing head and machinery rebuilding. We also needed to plan for future growth and the expansion of our product line. A new building was the only answer.”

The new facility includes corporate offices, sales and engineering offices, a technical library, rebuilding facilities, extensive spare parts storage areas, and expanded manufacturing space.

Linden designs and builds a full-line of primary and auxiliary equipment for the production of flexible and rigid polyurethanes, polyureas, polyesters, PRIM and SRIM. In addition, the company offers multiple lines of metering equipment, bulk storage systems, blending systems, mold handling equipment, and data acquisition modules.
