Environmentally Friendly Systems for Polyurethane Processing

Linden Industries, a global manufacturer of polyurethane processing equipment, has recently introduced a new system that replaces HFC and HCFC blowing agents with the environmentally friendly Pentane hydrocarbon (HC) blowing agent. Pentane is so friendly and safe for the environment that it is rated at “Zero” ODP and “Zero” global warming. The unit is self-contained and can be provided with new equipment or as a retrofit.

PENTA - FUSION is a Pentane blending unit engineered and manufactured to customer specifications. This unit is usually employed in discontinuous applications requiring “poured shots”. Blended material from the unit may be piped directly to properly equipped day tanks or to batch holding tanks for storage and distribution to day tanks.
