Environmentally Friendly Systems for Polyurethane Processing

Linden Industries, a global manufacturer of polyurethane processing equipment, has recently introduced a new system that replaces HFC and HCFC blowing agents with the environmentally friendly Pentane hydrocarbon (HC) blowing agent. Pentane is so friendly and safe for the environment that it is rated at “Zero” ODP and “Zero” global warming. Both units are self-contained and can be provided with new equipment or as a retrofit.

PENTA-METER is a metering unit for pentane injection at the mixhead. This unit is engineered and manufactured to customer specifications and is typically used for continuous production lines. Linden is committed to helping companies comply with environmental standards. Replacing HFCs and HCFCs is a goal with most companies and our new Pentane HC unit will meet both current and future environmental demands.
